The Catholic Young Adults of Durham and Chapel Hill have six core ministries. Descriptions of each of our ministries can be found below. If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please reach out to our ministry leaders.
Prayer and Worship: Building our faith and community through group and private prayer, liturgy, worship, and sacramental engagement.
Community and Hospitality: Opportunities for connection within the young adult ministry, including social (trivia nights, share the good brews, and bonfires) and yearly events.
Small Faith Groups: Available to all those wishing to join a bible study or faith-sharing group. This ministry aims to establish and maintain a relationships within small groups to support participants work and nourish their own faith journey.
Service: Partnering with communities in the Durham and Chapel Hill areas, our young adult community comes together to engage in service opportunities. This ministry connects its members with those in need and works to live out the Corporal Works of Mercy.
Marriage and Family: Fosters community within the growing subset of young adults who are married, and/or married with children. We connect young adults as they strive to live out their Vocation of holiness and nurture the Domestic Church.
Communications: Works with organizers to advertise all upcoming events, both formal and informal. Event information will be shared to both new members and returners via social media and email.
